Course Objectives
Know how to tackle 4 major Leadership Challenges
Prior to the event an online questionnaire will be sent out to delegates for completion and during the course, several short questionnaires will be completed to help delegates identify where they currently are in relation to the topics we cover.
Day 1 AM – Introduction to the concept of true Leadership
* Definition, Objective and Process for Leadership
* Leadership V Management
* What people need to perform
* Top level Management Theory overview – how it all fits in.
Day 1 PM – Challenge 1 - How to develop Strategic Plans and get them Executed.
* How to work WITH your Teams so that they can create and execute strategic plans (or how NOT to just tell them to think more strategically)
* The elements of and skills behind a WORKING strategic plan – not just something written down for the sake of it.
* How to use KPIs effectively as a tool for improvement and not just as a big stick!
Day 2 AM – Challenge 2 - How to develop a Resonant Leadership repertoire.
* Beyond Situational Leadership. Introducing the “Emotionally Intelligent Leadership Repertoire” model and how to operate in all 7 styles.
* What happens between the 'big idea' (decision) and tactical execution on the ground.
* How a leader applies the right leadership element at the right time to build plans, commitment, motivation and belief so that things happen on their own (by followship) across a diverse geographical and demographic area.
Day 2 PM – Challenge 3 - How to fix Dysfunctional teams - the secrets to success oriented teams
* Most teams dysfunction at 5 levels. Each level must be functional for the next level to operate effectively. Especially hierarchical teams.
* What are the levels and how do you identify where the break down is?
* How do you fix this?
Day 3 – Challenge 4 - How to Coach around strategic plans (how to coach a team member or manager around their business)
* What specifically to do once the plan and the KPIs are in place.
* How to structure the leader/follower sessions for effective use of your time.
* What specific tools to use in the session, including the ‘how to’ behind tough conversations and the structure of Motivation.
Day 4 – (Optional day ) Advanced Communication & Influencing Skills for Performance – Charismatic Leadership
* “People Pattern Power” – Communication Preferences, responder and personality types - how to spot them and work with them effectively.
* Language Dynamite – powerful language structures to promote buy in and engagement from 1 to many
* Stage craft – Charisma and communication strategies for inspirational presentations
